Your support keeps East Pond healthy today and protects it for tomorrow.

East Pond is cared for by the volunteer-led East Pond Association and supported by a community that loves and depends on this lake. Your financial contribution keeps the lake healthy now and prepares us for the large-scale restoration work anticipated every 7–15 years.

There are two essential ways to support lake stewardship:

Become a member to fund the work that must happen every single year.

Annual support covers:

  • Courtesy Boat Inspections (CBI)

  • Invasive aquatic plant monitoring and remediation

  • Dam maintenance and water-level management

  • Water quality testing and reporting

  • Community education and lake stewardship outreach

  • General operations that keep the Association running

  • Community events that foster connection and fun on the lake (Band on a Boat, the Winter Gathering on the Ice, etc.)

In addition to household memberships, local businesses can join as partners in stewardship and are recognized as supporters of the lake.

Membership also provides voting rights at our Annual Meeting and helps demonstrate broad community engagement, which makes it easier to secure additional funding from state, federal, and foundation grants.
